The Regional Growth Fund (RGF), now closed, was aimed at promoting private sector-led growth throughout England.
Exceptional Regional Growth Fund (eRGF) support was an award of聽RGF聽money to a project or programme outside of competitive聽RGF聽bidding rounds. Ministers reserved the option to use the聽eRGF聽funding to respond quickly to significant economic shocks or exceptional bids that presented an opportunity to secure internationally mobile investment.
