After presenting his credentials to the Turkish President Abdullah Gul, British Ambassador Richard Moore paid a visit to Ataturk鈥檚 Mausoleum (Anitkabir) with a delegation from the Embassy. On 4 February 2014 Tuesday.

The Ambassador wrote these lines to Anitkabir Memory Book:

鈥淚t is a great honor to pay my respects to the father of modern Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. A giant of the 20th century and a great friend of the United Kingdom.鈥�
