Foreign Secretary welcomes formation of Iraqi Government

鈥淚 welcome the fact that a new government has now been formed in Iraq and approved by the Iraqi Parliament. This will reinforce stability in Iraq and allow Iraq鈥檚 political leaders to work together for the benefit of their country and people.

鈥淲e hope the new Government will now focus on resolving the pressing economic, political and security issues still facing Iraq. The United Kingdom stands ready to support the Iraqi Government and people in this effort.鈥�
