New chairman for ECGD

Guy Beringer QC has been appointed as non-executive chairman of ECGD following an open competition. Guy succeeds Graham Pimlott who held the post since January 2004.
Guy was formerly a senior partner of the law firm Allen & Overy.聽In October 2006, he was appointed Queen鈥檚 Counsel (honoris causa) for his contributions to pro bono and legal services.聽聽
The Minister for Trade, Investment and Small Business, Lord Davies of Abersoch said:
