The President of the United Mexican States, Se帽or Enrique Pe帽a Nieto, accompanied by Se帽ora Ang茅lica Rivera de Pe帽a, has accepted an invitation from The Queen to pay a State Visit to the United Kingdom fromthe 3rd to 5th of March 2015.

Background

  • The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh have paid two State Visits to the United Mexican States in 1975 and 1983.
  • The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh have hosted State Visits by Mexican Presidents in 1973, 1985 and 2009
  • The visit follows The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall鈥檚 visit to Mexico in October.
