UN Security Council Debate: Prevention of Sexual Violence in Conflict
Foreign Secretary William Hague will chair the United Nations Security Council Debate on the Prevention of Sexual Violence in Conflict on 24 June 2013.

Rape and other forms of sexual violence in conflict are appallingly common 鈥 affecting mostly women and girls, but also men and boys. The Prevention of Sexual Violence in Conflict Debate will look at accountability for crimes of sexual violence on the national level and how the United Nations can better support countries in holding perpetrators to account.
