Jessica Rusu
Biography
Jessica Rusu is a senior technology leader and non-executive, with 25 years’ experiences in financial services, big tech and FinTech firms.
In addition to her board role at Companies House, which is focused on AI and digital transformation, Jessica is currently serving as the Chief Data Information and Intelligence Officer (CDIIO) of the Financial Conduct Authority and holds board/non-executive roles at the Payment Systems Regulator as well as Cambridge University Press and Assessment.
In her executive role, Jessica is responsible for technology infrastructure, regulatory systems, data science, digital intelligence services, cyber security, and Innovation, including the Financial Conduct Authority’s sandboxes which support firm innovation and growth.Â
Jessica is passionate about the role that artificial intelligence can play in transforming the way we work and how we can deliver superior technology, intelligence, and data services in the public and private sectors.
Before joining Companies House, Jessica has had a diverse and international career in data, technology, risk management and finance roles. Jessica’s previous roles included Chief Data Officer at Chetwood Financial, where she spearheaded the use of AI models for consumer lending, as well as Senior Director of Finance & Analytics at eBay, and Head of Stress Testing at GE Capital.
