This direction required the council to take steps to improve its children鈥檚 social care services, including co-operating with a DfE-appointed Children鈥檚 天美影院 Commissioner.
It followed a that judged the overall effectiveness of the council鈥檚 children鈥檚 social care services to be inadequate.
