The request concerns a Monitor project for looking at the delivery of the benefits of mergers between NHS organisations. Aldwych Partners was commissioned to carry out work for that project. The request asked:

  • which mergers were looked at and what conclusions the work made
  • for a copy of the report and any internal notes on the work
  • how much Aldwych Partners were paid for this work and how Monitor ensured that the work undertaken was impartial
