RE: Freedom of information request - current legislation
Thank you for your freedom of information request of 16 July August 2025, allocated reference number RFI 108.
You asked for the following information:
鈥淧lease provide an electronic copy of your latest working copies of the current legislation marked up or derived for application to sub-contractors, or both, reflecting the required application of Part 2 of the Act and the required modifications arising from the Regulations, including:
a. Part 2 of the Defence Reform Act 2014
b. The Single Source Contract Regulations 2014鈥�
We have considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (鈥楩OI Act鈥�).
Under the FOI Act, you have the right to:
- know whether the Single Source Regulations Office (鈥楽SRO鈥�) holds the information you require
- be provided with that information (subject to any exemptions under the FOI Act which may apply).
I can confirm that the SSRO does not hold working copies of legislation (Part 2 of the Defence Reform Act 2014 and the Single Source Contract Regulations 2014) that the SSRO has marked up and/or modified to accommodate directly the changes referred to in regulations 64 and 65 of the Single Source Contract Regulations 2014.
If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be submitted within two months of the date of receipt of our response to your request and should be addressed to: enquiries@ssro.gov.uk.
If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at: Information Commissioner鈥檚 Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.
