Applicants are charged for:
- pre-application services
- venue costs, where the Applicant does not provide a venue for a hearing
- a fee to accompany the application
- a Pre-examination fee following the appointment of the Inspector(s) initially chosen to examine the application
- an initial payment in respect of the handling of an application (payable at the beginning of the Examination stage, following the Preliminary Meeting)
- a final payment in respect of the handling of an application (payable on completion of the Examination stage)
1. Fee Charges from 1 April 2025
The table below shows the fees payable from 1 April 2025 for new post-consent material change applications. The Infrastructure Planning (Changes to, and Revocation of, Development Consent Orders) Regulations 2011 and subsequent amendments can be viewed at听

| The Planning Inspectorate must charge the Applicant a fee for an application made under Regulation 16 of the Infrastructure Planning (Changes to, and Revocation of Development Consent Orders) Regulations 2011. The fee must accompany the application. | 拢8,946 |

| Final payment in respect of the handling of an application | |

| Following notification of the completion of the Examination stage under Regulation 42. The final payment is dependent on the number of days actually required for the examination:- | 听 |

The initial payment in respect of handling an application is deducted from the final payment.
