The strategy sets out the MOD鈥檚 high level approaches for managing the nuclear materials, fuel, sites, facilities, submarines and radioactive waste resulting from the defence nuclear programme. It provides the basis for a coherent approach to decommissioning and disposal activities relating to the UK鈥檚 nuclear weapon and nuclear submarine programmes.
