This review sets out the main findings, achievements, challenges and lessons learned from Defra鈥檚 payments for ecosystem services (PES) pilot projects between 2012 and 2015.
The evidence from these projects will help to inform the government鈥檚 thinking on innovative funding in developing the 25 Year Environment Plan.
