Income Tax liabilities statistics: tax year 2012 to 2013, to tax year 2014 to 2015

These statistics are based on HMRC鈥檚 annual Survey of Personal Incomes, a representative sample survey of the tax records of individuals in HMRC鈥檚 PAYE, Self Assessment and repayment claims administrative systems.

Individuals鈥� tax liabilities are estimated using the information the Survey of Personal Incomes (SPI) provides on taxpayer incomes and circumstances (such as their age).
