Apply to file with Companies House using software

You鈥檒l need to apply for an account to file using software. The account you need will depend on whether you鈥檙e filing company accounts and documents that have a fee.

Using software for filings that have a fee聽

You need a Companies House credit account to file documents that have a filing fee. For example, company incorporations and confirmation statements.

You鈥檒l also be able to file accounts and documents that do not have a fee using this account.

If you only need to file company accounts, and documents that do not have a filing fee, you can use this service to apply for a presenter account.聽聽

What you鈥檒l need聽

You鈥檒l need to:聽

  • sign in or create an account聽
  • give a name and correspondence address for the account聽
  • give the name or company number of the business you work for聽

It takes around 5 minutes to apply.聽

This service is also available鈥痠n Welsh (Cymraeg).
