Connectivity Tool

Tool to help built environment professionals to understand how sustainably located a place is and the transport interventions needed to support it.

What the tool does

The Connectivity Tool helps built environment professionals and others to understand the connectivity of places in England and Wales. You can use the tool to:

  • display how any location in England and Wales is connected to everyday services by walking, driving, cycling and public transport
  • plot new transport routes to understand how these would affect an area鈥檚 connectivity

Who can use the tool?

The tool is currently only available to people working in local or central government who have been granted access to use it.聽聽

If you have not access and you believe you should, contact your IT team to request access.

What you need to use the tool

To use the tool you will need to:聽

The One Login account must be under your work email address.

If you don鈥檛 have a One Login account under your work email address, you will need to create one.

Start using the Connectivity Tool

If you have access to the tool and you are logged into a One Login account, you can start using the tool. If you are not logged into a One Login account, you will be redirected to the One Login page.
