Next event: The power of vaccine development and global partnerships (Thursday 10 July)
On聽Thursday 10 July, 11am to 12pm, we will be hosting our聽fifth聽UKHSA Presents聽webinar聽where we will dive into聽how the UKHSA鈥檚 Vaccine Development and Evaluation Centre (VDEC) is at the forefront of accelerating vaccine innovation.
This webinar will explore VDEC鈥檚 robust scientific capabilities, showcasing its vital contribution to global health security. Featuring contributions from the Oxford Vaccine Group and the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), this session will demonstrate how VDEC鈥檚 partnerships are instrumental in addressing global health challenges and strengthening vaccine preparedness.

February 2025: mSCAPE Genomics
On Wednesday 19 February, our UKHSA Presents webinar explored UKHSA鈥檚 groundbreaking work in the use of pathogen genomics.鈥疧ur panel of speakers focused on the world-first metagenomics Surveillance Collaboration and Analysis Programme (mSCAPE), which has been developed to aid in the rapid detection of infectious diseases that could threaten the UK.

November 2024: Antimicrobial Resistance
