A听decision maker (DM)听may encounter a situation where听multiple penalties are to be imposed on the same business/individual.Multiple penalties will affect how the DM听issues the penalty notices and applies the听administration charge听(admin charge).听
Issuing penalty notices听
The DM听must issue a separate听penalty notice听for each penalty charged. This allows the business/individual to respond and make representations to each penalty notice independently. This is important if the business/individual for example, accepts one penalty notice and wants to pay promptly (to obtain an early payment reduction) but appeals another penalty notice.听
