• Receptacles into which articles are fitted require export licences if the articles themselves are licensable.

Effective control of strategic exports is only maintained through close teamwork involving these Departments and others principally the Ministry of Defence (MOD), The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
