Development of Low Volume Road Design Manuals and update of standard specifications and detailed drawings

These are for 3 AfCAP member countries in West Africa – First Workshop Report

Abstract

The Africa Community Access Partnership (AfCAP) is funding the preparation of manuals for Low Volume Roads (LVRs) for 3 AfCAP member countries in the West Africa sub-region. These are Liberia, Sierra Leone and Ghana.

Following initial visits, a stakeholder workshop was organised in September 2017 to consolidate stakeholder engagement for all 3 countries in determining, for each manual, the most appropriate scope and style.

This project is funded by DFID under the Applied Research on Rural Roads and Transport ÌìÃÀÓ°Ôº through Community Access Programmes in Africa and Asia (AFCAP2 and AsCAP)
